What affects the price of your car subscription?

Car subscriptions are a new breed of car ownership that combines the benefits and convenience of car ownership without the long-term financial commitment.

Normally all providers would include servicing, maintenance, road tax, car insurance, and breakdown cover in the monthly cost.

The price of your monthly subscription will depend on a variety of factors, including:

  • The type of vehicle you want to drive
  • The length of your car subscription
  • The cost of your initial subscription deposit
  • Where you live (you may be charged for delivery and collection)
  • Your mileage
  • Additional monthly add-ons that providers offer

If you want to drive an electric vehicle, expect to pay more. EVs are still more expensive than conventional cars. Plus, our research shows that demand at the moment is very high, it's hard to find one in stock.

You can keep an eye on our car inventory for the latest cars, so you can get your hands on one sooner rather than later.

We have written a very in-depth guide on how the price of a car subscription is worked out (including factors which subscription providers take into account).
